  • Today I had my first bout with illness in the morning. I was brushing my teeth and the toothpaste didn't agree so well with me. I know it has been almost 13 years since I have been pregnant, but I don't remember this occurring so early. I also felt a little bit queasy at work as we were in a small room with alot of coffee drinkers and coffee brewing. I don't do well with the smell of coffee either........ What an experience! Thank You God for allowing me to experience it again!

  • Justcinful - since you asked, I think my due date would be around October 31, 2001. I have not received a official one from the Dr yet. That will be coming on Monday after our appointment.

  • Return call again from the nurse. The Dr felt our pregnancy was going as planned, but would like to see us for a pregnancy confirmation appointment. If all looks well at that appointment he will be referring us back to our home clinic. We will no longer need to be followed by a specialist.
    Our appointment for this confirmation is on Monday, March 5th. After that I am to make an appointment at our home clinic for a pregnancy physical. So that seems to be the plan....we are moving right along............

  • The nurse called this morning to ask a few questions before she talks to my Doctor this morning. My levels on my pregnancy test were 1,244 which she said was good. She said they might want to check them again to make sure they are increasing accordingly. I will have to search on the net to see what these levels should be, etc. I am just waiting for her to call back now after she has talked to the Dr to let us know what the next step is in the plan. Needless to say we couldn't be happier!! The cramps are gone and the spotting has stopped.

  • HURRAH!!! I got a call back on my work voicemail from the Doctor's nurse. She states that the results of the pregnancy test they took at the office was the same results as I got at home. POSITIVE!!! She said the spotting is normal in early pregnancy and not to worry. They are not sure what my levels are but she said we will talk in the morning and she will start on a plan. Not sure what the plan is....but it means we are pregnant for sure and moving on to whatever is the next stop. As for the spotting it is nearly done.....no cramping......... I am feeling better..........

  • As many people know, especially my hubby, I am the most impatient person!!   Ok....it is now 2:30 and no call back yet from the clinic with the test results....so am I prego or am I not......was my home test a false positive due to the HCG shot I got on the 5th.....I GOTTA KNOW!!!  Not knowing is the worse......

  • Ok....just got back from the lab to have my blood drawn.  Now the part I hate....the waiting game....the lady at the lab said that the results were to be sent upstairs by 4:00 so I should hear from the Dr office by then.   Ok....it is 1:00 now....only three more hours.    PLEASE PLEASE, let the test confirm I have a viable pregancy......

  • My Temp is still elevated......woo hoo!!

  • Hello....from snowy, snowy midwest!!  Well we are keeping toasty here or at least trying to.   Not sure what my temp was this morning as when I took it I had already been out of bed once since my 12 year old was vomiting and not feeling well during the night. 


    Hopefully I will sleep through the night tonight and get a good temp tomorrow!!   KEEP WARM!!!   :-)
