EJ, I just wanted to let you know the only way to stop a mom from trying to feed you those nasty peas. Spit them at her!! My mom stopped trying to give me those after I covered her glasses a few times. Just wanted to help ya out man, us babies have to stick together!

Hello...........
Well my baby is home from Camp.........Josh got home on Friday night and then this morning his dad came to pick him up for the weekend.
I miss him again............
Well I made it to the library this morning and then home to watch Nick and Kristi for Bonnie. She is taking care of them while their parents took the older girl to a dance competition in Las Vegas. The younger two always miss out on everything. Oh well.........
They were both very good today. I had put the wading pool out early in the morning so by after Tommy's nap time it was nice and warm. Tommy was a bit crabby, but enjoyed the water for a bit.
Tommy and Kristi both needed to go down for naps after swimming.
Once Bonnie came to get the kids, we went to Sam's club. I found some good deals on fruit. So I have some blueberries, cherries, avocados and pears to make for Tommy. I can't believe he has eaten all the avocados and pears I have made. He really likes those.
Tommy ate his chicken tonight. I mixed it in with some yams and he ate it up. I pick up a book at the library called "first meals" so I will see what combos they recommend. Tommy actually ate (or mushed) a fig newton cookie today. He sorta liked it.....he still prefers the snack toast.
I did get some cleaning done around the house today. I made some room in Tommy's playroom for the ball pit. ARGH....so at least isn't in the middle of our living room. I did about 4 or 5 loads of laundry. I am a bit behind in that area. I also spent 15 minutes in my bedroom cleaning up a bit. I have about 15 more minutes to do again tomorrow. Also a good amount of laundry to do tomorrow.
Well I am off to bed to look at my new books...............night! Have a great rest of your weekend! I think I will be making some baby food tomorrow!

Have to laugh...most of you know my hubby LOVES to go to garage sale! He has bought ever single little tykes toy made for Tommy. Tommy has a playroom stuffed with toys. Well yesterday my hubby called me at work. I asked him how was garage saling, he says "I only bought a gumball toy for Tommy. Tommy likes it." I say "Tommy is too young for gumballs, make sure he can't choke." Paul says, "he is fine." I get home to see the item below in my living room. It is brand new and he paid $5.00 for it.....but where and I going to put it???????????? My hubby....LOL!!!
Well I am off to shower and try and get some cleaning done. Hubby is off at a garage sale. I can't stand the clutter of the things he brings home. I know it is so much cheaper to buy Tommy's clothes this way, etc...but hubby buys stuff I wouldn't. I am a flylady...trying to clean out clutter and he keeps bringing it home. ARGH!! What to do!

Morning........I have a couple of minutes before I have to leave here. We planned out vacation a bit, so I sort of have the dates down. So we will be making reservations at hotels in the next few days and get everything all set. I hope we don't have too much planned, since I really like to relax as well. The boys love to swim and stuff at the hotel too. Our vacation as a kid, I remember constantly hurry up and being on the move. I HATE to travel like that and I won't. We take a very leisurely time, sleep in as late as we want, etc. It is an vacation for Pete's sake!
Last night was pretty normal, not much going on. Tommy is saying three things, DA-DA, MA-MA and Bob...LOL!! I have no idea who Bob is....he just likes to say it. It is so fun watching him grow up. Nothing else too exciting. Well I am off to work. Later..........isn't the weekend here yet???????? PLEASE...................................It is actually suppose to be nice this weekend so maybe we will go to the beach with Tommy he enjoys the water a lot.
I think I am going to try to figure out how to make him some meat baby food, like chicken breast.............that might be my project for the weekend........and cantaloupe too!

Little Things
Too often we don’t realize what we have until it is gone

Be sure that you appreciate everything you’ve got
And be thankful for the little things in life that mean a lot

Argh...what a day. Sometimes i feel bad being the one at work all day. My hubby has been so frustrated lately with the demands of the baby and Erik lately. Erik needs constant supervision and is always doing something he shouldn't. Not sure that will ever end.
Tommy...my sweet baby is very demanding of late. He wants you in the same room with him and paying attention to him or he screams. So needless to say there are times like when you are making supper, etc, he needs to just scream. Hubby is having trouble with this and really needs to be done with him in the evening.
Tonight Tommy did clap his hands for the first time............very cute! He was pretty crabby most of the night, but he is cutting his 5th tooth. It is almost through.
Been a long day and I am heading to bed to read and collapse. Hope everyone had a lovely Tuesday!
BTW - my best friend jsut had her baby last night. Emma Lee....6 pounds 9 oz. .....born 12 days early. I can't wait to go see her and help my friend out around her house.

I actually finished my book last night for the BookMoms. I am on schedule for once. As for the July book, I have already read that one, so I am on to the book for August I guess. Hmmmmm....I wonder what that is..........
