So far so good....Tommy has been in bed since 8:30 and I did give him the benedryl as suggested by the Dr. Please let him do better tonight.
I need one night of sleep...speaking of which I think i will finish IM's with my mom and head to bed myself!
I didn't do my cleaning tonight, so I think tomorrow will be my cleaning day and today is a my FREE DAY instead!

Finally got to speak to a real live person at the mortgage company. YEAH!! I am not able to refinance for as much as I thought I could, but it will be helpful none the less. I will be able to compbine my original loan and second mortgage and pay almost 400.00 dollars a month less with the lower interest rate. YEAH!!
I will then use the extra money to pay off my credit cards, then I will look at getting a new vehicle. That can wait a bit longer. So tomorrow I will call the mortgage company and complete the application. It will take 75 days to finish the process he said....but I will lock in at 5.75% for the life of my loan....
Later......time to get home and finish all the laundry and do my weekly cleaning!

OH what a day....Tommy to the Dr again as he was up again last night for the third night. He cired and fussed from 12:30 until 4:00am. Man am I tired today. Dr says it is night Terrors or separation anxiety. We will see how tonight goes tonight.
I am starting the process to refinance our house. I am very excited about it. I hope it will go fast. I called and they are suppose to contact me...we will see how long that takes. GRRRR...I hate not knowing. We will save a lot of maney by refinancing. I will be able to pay off all my credit cards and probably buy a different vehicle if all goes as planned.

8:38 here in Mn and quiet. I am so over tired, you would not believe it. I made the chili for supper tonight, was very good. After supper we went to Sam's Club for diapers and computer ink and paper.
Hubby and I took Tommy for a walk and then Tommy took a bath and headed for bed. Not a very exciting night here.
I am going to fold two loads of laundry and head to bed myself and read until I finally fall asleep. Tomorrow is another day............... -
NAPTIME!! Just a quick note and I think I will be joining my baby for naptime. The darling boy woke up last night at around 2:00 or so I think, but hubby says it was more like 12:30 he started talking. At 3:00 I had to finally get up with him as he was like a snooze alarm, every few minutes he would whoop. Hubby had to be up for work at 4:00am so he wasn't so happy. I got up at 3:00 and took Tommy into the living room. We got a drink and a snack and he was ready to go! ARGH!! So I convince him to sit on the couch with me and watch blue's clues.
Finally when it was a bit after 4:00 I put him in his crib and I went to bed as hubby was getting up. ARGH!! Tommy slept then until about 9:00am. I got up at 9:00 and hurried to get ready as Tommy had an appointment for a haircut at 10:00am in Woodbury. We made it in time.
We stopped at Once Upon a Child and picked up some PJ;s and a Blues'CLues outift. Then we stopped at the grocery store to buy the ingredients to make a huge pot of chili and Mom's Enchiladas. I have not made the enchiladas before. Since Joshua is gone we are having a lot of food this week that has chili pepper in it. He is allergic to chilli pepper, but hubby loves spicy food.
The house is a mess, but I need a nap to function the rest of the day. I know hubby will head to bed when he gets home from work. He hardly slept at all. AAAH....I better change around the laundry before I head to bed.

Oh..yeah...and I called the Mission trip line last night and at 9:45 there were in Tennesse and right on schedule. The kids are awesome. the leaders are doing awesome and God is Good..........
I called this morning but no new update...maybe tonight. They should be in Florida today enjoying MGM studios for the day! -
The end of a nice quiet Friday night...spent at home. Erik and Josh are gone and Tommy heads to bed around 8:00. So I had a nice quiet evening paying bills....WOW..exciting, eh?? It is sooooo very nice to have the extra money from my hubby's job to be able to actually pay all the bills and still eat without touching the savings much. We certainly are not changing our life style jsut maintaining.
I talked to hubby about disconnecting digital cable or at least get a small package. He called and said our package is the smallest...hmmmm...not so sure about that. And as much as we use our computer for church, leisure and work related things, it is not an option to decrease our service there. Those are our only luxuries. We hardly ever eat out, about twice a month on a Sunday after church.
I am off to bed, tomorrow is a busy day. I need to go to the grocery store and Tommy is getting his haircut at 10:00am in Woodbury and of course our weekly library trip. -
YAWN....I am awake, sort of. It is a rough mroning getting up today. Josh left for Florida this morning at 5:00am. One girl was late getting there and didn't show up until 5:25, the youth minister was not very happy. But my baby is on his first Mission Trip. He will be working with the Red Cross in St Petersburg Florida. I hope it is a good experience for him. It should be a great eye opener of how blessed he is...
Today Erik's Bio Mom will be picking him up from daycare and taking him on vacation for the next 10 days with her and her family. I finally got him to stop saying the word "crap" everyone other word, I am afraid he will come back doing it again. GRRRR....that is all I need is my 19 months old baby walking around talking like that. Hubby and I do not talk like that.
So it will be just Tommy and I all day tomorrow while Daddy works. I am not sure what we will be doing. We are broke after fixing the airconditoning. GRRRR>..that took my hubby's first two weeks of pay. I think we might go to the beach on Sunday when Daddy can go with us. Saturday I will try to get some errands ran and things around the house done.
Well I am running late, I need to hit the shower and get Erik and Tommy up. -
Well I am off to bed. The BBQ chicken sandwiches were very easy and a big hit with everyone! The Greek salad was liked by hubby and I and my oldest son.
I had to head to church tonight and stuff envelopes with another committee member. When I got home we went for a treat at the dairy queen. It is now a bit after 10:00 and all are in bed, including me in a few minutes here!
I am off to sleep in my nice cool air conditioned house! -
Supper Tonight..................
Easy Chicken Barbecue
½ Cup each chopped celery, green pepper and onion
2 Tablespoon butter or margarine
1-1/3 Cup Barbecue sauce
2 cans (10ozs) chunk white chicken, drained
6 sandwich rolls, split
In a saucepan, sauté the celery, green pepper and onion in butter until tender. Stir in barbecue sauce and chicken; heat through. Serve on rolls. Yield: 6 servings

GREEK PASTA SALAD
Plan ahead….needs to chill
3 – Cups uncooked tricolor spiral pasta
1 – Medium tomato, cut into wedges
1-small sweet red pepper, julienned
1 – small green pepper, julienned
4 ounces crumbled feta cheese
½ -cup sliced ripe olives
DRESSING:
2/3 cup olive or vegetable oil
¼ cup minced fresh basil
3 tablespoons white vinegar
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
½ tsp salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
¼ teaspoon dried oregano
Cook pasta according to package directions; rinse in cold water and drain. Place in a large serving bowl; add the tomato, peppers, feta cheese and olives.
In a blender, combine the dressing ingredients; cover and process until smooth. Pour over salad; toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight. Toss before serving. Yield: 10-12 servings
