Whew...where did the weekend go??? We were busy as always. I will give ya a quick run down.
SATURDAY - Up and ready and out the door with Erik and Tommy to go to the bread store and library. Return home before Josh leaves for his dad's place. Make a quick lunch and put Tommy down for a nap. I run to the store to buy the stuff to make scalloped Potatoes and Ham for supper.
I return home and Josh heads to his dad's. Erik watches a movie while Tommy naps. At 1:00 wake up Tommy to go to the neighbors birthday party. After the party we play in the wading pool in the yard for a few hours. Then Daddy gets home!! Supper time!!
After Supper we run to Sam's Club for diapers and to the grocery store for ingredients for a cake. I need a cake for the bake sale at church tomorrow for Josh's mission trip.
Stayed up sort of late making a cake and finishing my book, Emperess of One by Faith Sullivan.
SUNDAY - FATHER"S DAY!!! Happy Father's day to everyone! We got Daddy a new *good blender. He killed out old cheap blender making choc. malts. I got him a cuisnart. Should live through a few malts. Off to church....cake is done and looks yummy!!! Our cake was on picked for the auction. The top five were picked to auction. My cake made 35.00 for the mission trip! YEAH!!!
Home for lunch and naps. After Tommy's nap we headed to the Children's Museum and had a great time with the boys. They both enjoyed it very much and would play and play if the place didn't close. We stop at McDonalds and headed home.
Tommy ran in the sprinkler for a bit. A new experience for him. He got a good blast in the face and wasn't too happy! We got cleaned up and he headed to bed. I went to get groceries! I actually have my menus made for this week. YEAH!! I am starting to get on top of things again.
Groceries are all put away, dishes washed and supper all mixed and ready for hubby to put in the crock pot late tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow we start out home school summer program. Erik has been very motivated to read with the 20.00 carrot! He is almost through one book and ready to take the test.
I best head to bed. Chat with you all later! If my life ever slows down I might post regularly again, maybe after summer!

Yeah...it is FRIDAY!!! Last day of work is always a good thing. Hubby works all day tomorrow though. Erik is staying home with Josh today, no daycare for him. For the most part he has been doing pretty good with daycare.
I have a ton of laundry to get caught up on this weekend and I need to buy groceries. I might do that on Saturday and have the boys help me. We will see.
Not much for now, I have to run and get my shower done and head to work. ARGH.... -
Morning...I think I am feeling better. I came home from work early yesterday not feeling well. I went ot bed with my laptop and worked a few hours. I actually finished my budgets and completed my time reporting. I have to go to work this morning. I have a funeral this morning. A little boy that I was going to be moving in a medical fragile home, instead will attend his funeral today. He was just a few months older than my Tommy.
My favorite season of the year has started, "can I have a sleep over!!???!" This is what I hear from Erik and Josh every day. Josh had a friend stay over last night and Erik gets to have one over tonight, then that is it for this week. *Mean mommy!*
Tonight, hubby has a meeting at church. I am going over the neighbors to get the info about the block party. Hubby and I and another couple are taking over the block planning for this year.
Time to hit the shower and get ready for work. Have a great day!- 8:30 am

It is 10:30 and what have I accomplished today. Hmm...got Erik, Tommy and I all ready and out the door to a Dr. Appointment by 8:40. Re-check on Tommy's ears and all is fine! Then dropped the two of them off at daycare. I then stopped at home picked up prescription form and headed to Walgreen's to get Erik's pill refilled. Then I stopped and got my hair cut, very short wait at great clips this morning.
Now I am home having my breakfast real fast. I have to pick Josh up at 11:00 from school for a Dentist appointment. Today is his last day of school! I probably should start a load of laundry before I leave to pick him up. I also have to make a phone call about my hospital bills still. I am also going to look into switching my balances on my credit cards to a new lower interest card I got. That should allow me to pay them off much quicker.
Well later....got to run. -

Whoa...I finished painting the bathroom! Paul put up our garage sale find of a light fixture and it looks wonderful! Much, much, better!! I need to hang the mirror and picture and do the wall paper boarder.
The bad news is our TV died! It wouldn't turn on at all. We ended up buying a new one over the weekend. Not like my family would live a day without a TV in the living room. I would be fine with it. I hardly have time to watch TV anymore!
I guess it is time to go and clean up the kitchen and living room a bit. Later! -
Tonight after supper we head to Sam's Club to buy easy to prepare lunches for Joshua. He will be babysitting Erik two days a week or so. Josh doesn't cook a great deal but can warm stuff out of a can. That is the sort of food I don't usually keep around our house. So off to Sam's we go.....over $200 later, the boys are stocked up for hopefully a month at least.
Now i am having a nice drink and heading to bed to read. AAAAH....I didn't get to the second coat of paint down stairs but will do that tomorrow during Tommys nap time.
Hope everyone had a great day!! Later!
P.S. Everyone liked the Barbequed Chicken! -
Supper for tonight???? I think we will try this new recipe for Barbeque Chicken. Seems easy enough!
Tommy is still napping and Josh and I have one coat of paint done in the downstairs bathroom. Maybe we can get another one done before supper...that would be nice.
Erik has been helping the neighbors to move dirt, but didn't take his shoes off when he came in to go the the bathroom. So I have muddy feet prints all over my steps. GRRRR....he is vacuuming as I type.
I just had a discussion with the boys about needing to pick up after themselves. If they are to be home all day I will not come home to an entire house to clean.
Well I am off to pay bills and after that I think I will start supper.- 3:38 pm

The weekend is official here and slept in until 8:00am,...YEAH!! All three of the boys are still sleeping, oops...except Tommy I hear him throwing things out of his crib. Hubby has been up and gone to work since 4:00am. He will most likely be working late today. Possible overtime and that is a good thing!
So I have the boys alone all day today. Hmmmmm....wonder what we will do?? I need to get groceries at some point, though I might wait until Tommy goes to bed tonight to do that.
Last night Erik was at church from 7:00 to 10:00 at a Friday Fun night event. He said it was fun! I am glad. I wish other kids on our block would have their children involved in the church.
Joshua was hanging out with friends until about 10:00. He is growing up so .....
Tommy was in bed around 8:30 but woke up crying just before 10:00 so I took him with to pick up Erik. Hubby was trying to sleep since he had to get up so early. We are not used to being so quiet and didn't do well either!
I continue to exercise and my asthma seems ot be sort of handling it. I actually lost some weight...how did that happen.
I best make my To DO list and take my shower as Tommy is wanting his day to begin!
