I am trying to get alot done today, but still reward myself. So every chore I complete I get 15 minutes of computer time. So I am using the time to add some recipes to my website. I will list a link to the new recipes here! I sure have a mountain of laundry to get caught up on! Wish me luck!

TRIPLE-ONION BAKED POTATOES

I don't plan on doing much this weekend, YEAH!!! Tonight is craft night at church. I might go there for a while, not sure. I might cross stitch or organize pictures.

The week is flying by, gotta love that! Monday I didn't get home from work until late so then went right to bed after getting Tommy to bed. Tommy's school went fine, I am not sure I love his teacher or now. We will see. It is a long class.

Tuesday ...work, work. work...then open house at the high school. Josh watched Tommy while we went. Learned a few new things, but I think Josh is doing fine. He seems to be keeping up with everything ok. We will see when mid terms come out. Argh..I forgot to ask him about the Spanish grade I was suppose to sign.

Wednesday. Court....I had to sit around there all morning. Argh..I was not happy about that! My parents didn't even show up for court, so we proceeded without them. Quick and easy. The judge reviewed my placement and approved it for another year. Hubby didn't want to go to Families First last night. I went with Tommy and it was fun. Russ returned which was nice and a new guy shawn came too.

THURSDAY....yeah...closer and closer to the weekend! YEAH!! Today i have to do paperwork all day at work. ARGH. BTW I got the work pants I ordered from Land's End and I love them! They are great! I plan to wearing them to work today. Tonight I have New Mom's Committee at church. But it should go quickly. Well I best hit the showere and get ready for work. I was waking up so slowly this morning. Tommy had gotten up in the middle of the night and I can't sleep with him in bed with us. He of course is still sleeping. I will be waking him soon so we can leave.

It is Monday and my feet have hit the ground and I am off running!  It is a very busy week.   This morning hubby and I went to school (ECFE) with Tommy.  It was ok, he didn't want to sit much for circle time and stuff.  While at school we set off some bug bombs to rid our house of spiders and the like there of.  

I continue to have headaches and am light headed throughout the day.  I do have a Dr appointment but not until Oct. 2nd.  I am having my blood sugar checked since I was diabetic while pregnant and I feel a lot like I did then.  I just have not recovered ever totaly from when I was in the ICU in February.  It certainly can't still be related to that.  I jsut haven't not been able to do all the things I could juggle previously and it is driving me nuts.  i thought it might also be related to my not exercising as much anymore, so I started exercising again last night.  My diet seems to be fine, I usually eat three meals a day.  I am notorious for just not eating sometimes.

Somewhere in there I need to clean the house yet.  ARGH!!!   I really do need to have a few nights a week at home to manage.  ARGH!  Well I am almost done eat my lunch so I best get going.  Hope everyone has a great week!  Meet ya at the end of the race.

Today is my children's first day of Sunday School. We weren't there last Sunday s we were at my company picnic at the Twins game. Erik is in the 5th grade class with Bob as his teacher, whom we really like. Tommy is starting in the new 2-year -old classroom. I am not sure who the teacher for that age group is. I hope he does ok. I might have to stay with him for a while as he is used to going to nursey instead of an actual Sunday school class.

I only have a couple of things on my list to finsish to today, but they could take a while.

midwestblahs - I was at the drug store yesterday to pick up my asthma meds and vitamins. I saw the ones from one a day you were mentioning and decided to try them out.

RESPONESE TO COMMENTS:

Anglais - split peas are found by the dry beans, like pinto etc. in the baking aisle maybe. So they are a dry bean in a bag. Stock pot is just a big pit with a lid. I think you could really use any big pot with a lid.

Crazymomma - my hubby loves all kids of soup. I never cared much for soup, but make alot of it now!

Kimmiesmommie - I had never had split pea soup either until married to my second hubby. He loves soup, so I am learning to make all his favorites.

Well I am off to bed. I am tried! I didn't do too much this evening. my SIL and BIL and kids came over. I did do the supper dishes. Tomorrow is another day! Time for me to head to bed. NIGHT NIGHT!!

I am off to clean the kitchen and get a pot of split pea soup going.

Joshua and I finished the laundry room. YEAH!! I can finally stop sneezing until I do the rest of the basement. It is such a mess down there. The kids (mainly Erik) dig out so much stuff.

SPLIT PEA SOUP WITH HAM

Freezes Well

10 Cups of water
4 cups Split Peas
1 Cup ham, diced (I add a bit more)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
1/4 teaspoon marjoram, crushed
1 bay leaf, finely crushed
1 Cup celery, chopped
1 Cup onion, chopped
1 Cup carrots, sliced


Rinse Peas; combine peas, water, ham, salt, pepper, bay leaf and marjoram in large Dutch oven or stock pot. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, simmer (don't boil) for 1-1/2 hours. Stir occasionally. Add Celery, onion, and carrots. Simmer, uncovered for 30 minutes.

Pretty quiet evening around here. We all got home a bit late. Paul had a server problem at work, then he had to pick up Erik yet too. The traffic takes me a while to get to the daycare, then it was home to make supper. We had Tater Tot Hot Dish. They ate most of the pan. I made cookies from Ondine03's website. I think they were called Killer Choc. Chip Cookies. YUMMY!!

THen we watched a DVD we had from the library. It was the HBO series, OZ. I watched one episode and never need to see another one. Certianly was not something I would be watching again. I still have one more DVD I want to watch, I might have to see if I can renew it in the morning. Tomorrow is our household library day. While watching TV I paid bills for the next few weeks.

I have a million things to do tis weekend, but I don't feel like making a list right now. Imagine that. I think I will head to bed. Josh is having a sleepover tonight. Erik was not allowed to have a sleepover due to an incident that occurred while he was with his SueMom. Hubby told him that if nothing major occurs in the next two weeks he can have one when he returns.

Well I am off to bed. I need to read a ton as I have book group in about 2 weeks and I have not started the book. YIKES!!! i have not been in the mood to read lately.

I tried on the clothes I bought again and I will be returning the work pants from Christopher banks. I am keeping the Lands' End ones. I also went onto the Land's End website last night and ordered the same pants in blue as well. The site is very cool, you are able to have your pants made custom. You pick the size but then for the inseam you pick the measurement to the 1/4 inch. I hope I ordered my long enough. It was hard for me to figure out the exact size I wanted. They will be here within 7 days so we will see how they turn out. They were the same price as the ones at Sears, but I could customized the inseam, very cool. Might be my new place to buy Chinos.

I suppose I should go shower and get ready for work. I stayed up way too late last night. I plan on paying billsing tonight and working on the laundry room a bit more. HOpe you are all have a great FRIDAY!!! YEAH IT IS FRIDAY!
