Morning...well I slept in till 8:30 and now will shower and hit the grocery store. More Later!

I am officially on VACATION!!!! I got home about 10:15 tonight and don't have to return to work until 1/6/04! Yeah!!...Ok..I am off to bed as I only got about 3 hours of sleep last night. Wasn't tried after sleeping all day Monday! I hope I can sleep tonight! I will read my financial book again which might make me tired.

Another sanity break.....not a soul here at work to talk to...LOL!!  The funny thing is the lights in my office building are motion and heat sensitive.  So if I sit at my desk typing eventually all the lights on the floor go off.  So then I have to stand up and move so the lights come back on!! LOL!!  I guess I don't put out enough heat!!  I have only one emore task to complete and I am out of here.  It is now 8:50, I should be leaving within 30 minutes to go home!!  YEAH!!   I have all my work done for the rest of the year!  yeah!! I am ending the year all caught up!  I can't complain about that!

I am feeling better and still at work.   It is a bit after 7:00 and I have a good hour of work to complete before starting my vacation.  ARGH!!  Believe it or not as usual I am the only one besides cleaning people and security guards left in the building.  I am regularly the last employee gone!!   I must be nuts.  I jsut hate to go on vacation with anything left hanging.  I always have to make sure my clients are all taken care of.  I wouldn't be here so late if I could have worked yesterday.  Oh Well.....I jsut need to finish then look forward to a worry free vacation.  I wonder if my work will call me while I am home, they usually do at least once. 

That is enough of a break back to work......

Just my luck.......Had a great weekend. I was able to get a number of loads of laundry done yesterday, finished my Christmas cards and paid bills or at least 1/2 of them. We finished the eveningwith Family movie night, we watched Santa Clause 2. Tommy liked watching Santa. At about 8:00 I started feeling sick, stomach ache, headache, chills. I was in bed by 8:30. I actually just got out of bed now, at 4:00pm. I am so tired and not feeling very well at all. So obviously I had to call in sick to work. I sure hope I can make it to work tomorrow. Wednesday my vacation is suppose to start.

Hubby went to see the surgereon about the growth on his neck today but had to reschedule as he was tied up in surgery. Our new computer fried last night, so hubby had to take it back to Best Buy. THey called the video card that fried is still under warranty, so we will get that fixed. Hubby was not very happy! My hubby's official start date for his job is today, he will no longer be a temporary employee...yeah...he will eventually get some benefits, etc.

We had a lovely evening last night with family. Everyone left around midnight. Tommy would not go to bed while they were all here so he was up very late and didn't sleep well through the night either. So I am one tired Mama today.

This morning I am doing a few loads of laundry then my SIL is coming over to do her laundry. Then I have to clean the house. There are cups and 1/2 drank can of pop everywhere. I have a lot of cleaning to do. The rest of the afternoon I will finish getting my Christmas cards mail and send them on their way.

Time for me to get busy!! I am all showered and dressed at least! Later!

Morning...today is Coyan Christmas. We will have all of my hubby's family over to celebrate Christmas, about 20 people or so. The house is pretty clean so I don't have much to do there, but I do need to get a few things done.

I talked to Josh's bio father last night and he said he would sign anything that Josh needed to go on his trip to Mexico. I told Josh and he felt relieved I think. I will now call and find out the details of what we need, etc. I have wrapped all the presents last night so I am done, except for a Santa present we have hidden at my SIL's.

I need to finish up my Christmas cards today and get them in the mail. I best make my to do list and shopping list and get this day going.

I have Tater Tot Casserole in the oven for my family. I can't eat a bite!! We went to Kincades for holiday lunch today. A lovely place, very upscale business type. The food was to die for! I had a grilled King Salmon with rice and veggies. I even plurged for dessert, I had burnt cream....which was sinful. Very expensive meal, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! Now back to reality!! LOL!!

Tonight I hope to straighten up the house and wrap presents! Tomorrow is our Coyan family Christmas party. I only have to make 7-layer salad, nothing too difficult.

YEAH it is FRIDAY!!!   I wrote my holiday newsletter last night and even got some of our christmas cards printed.  I will complete the cards tonight and get them mailed tomorrow.  I need to wash clothes and iron toinght for sure.  This morning when getting ready for work, I didn't have any pants ironed.  ARGH!!  So I just grabbed dress and flew out of the house.  That is fine as today we are going out to a fairly upscale restaurant for our work holiday lunch.  We will be going to Kincades in downtown St Paul.  I don't think I have ever eaten there before. 

I plan in getting off of work early today, so I will go home after out work lunch and wrap present and start some laundry.  Erik will be coming to out house tonight to spend a week with us for Christmas.  That will be nice.   I can't wait until the boys see the present they are getting from Santa!!!  I think they will be so surprised. 

Joshua surprised me last night.  I told him I will try to take him to get his passport during my Christmas vacation, but I have to get permission from his father.   He really reacted to that.   He was upset saying, "why should he have a say in what I do. etc"   I was really taken back by this as Josh rarely talks about his real father.  We tried to explain it to him by saying how we wouldn't want Erik's mom taking him out of the country without us knowing, etc...it is to protect kids.  But he doesn't see that the same as "Paul sees his kids, my dad only choses to see two of his kids".   He was really upset by this.  I never really thought it bothered him, but maybe I was wrong.  I hope this will pass, maybe it is the holidays combined with the fact that Josh has never even met his last two siblings.  I hope his father cooperates and does the paperwork so Josh can go to Mexico.   This is something that Josh needs to deal with, I can't fix this for him. 

I hope to go home to SD with the boys in a few months or so.  Josh can see his father's family then hopefully.  I know he wants to see his grandparents.

I found out something interesting today.  A friend told me that since Joshua's dad is on his birth certificate I will need to get a notarized letter from him to allow Joshua to go to Mexico on his mission trip.  Josh can't leave the country without his bio father's permission.  It seems so odd to have to ask him permission since he hasn't seen Josh in like 7 years.   I hope he will do that for Josh.  The mission trips have been so good for Josh.   I wouldn't see why he wouldn't sign one for him.  I am paying for the trip.  I would never ask for any additional money from Josh's dad.   I have made the down payment for the trip.  Josh will be going to Mexico in the end of June.
