  • Very busy day at work dealing with a child protection issue.  Will have to work on that more tomorrow morning.  I only worked 4 hours and headed home.  On the way home from work I stopped at ALDI to pick up a few staples.   You know milk, cereal, etc...Four bags of groc. were only 39.00.  I still have to make my menu's!  Argh...I don't know why I am avoiding that so much this time. 

     

    Once I got home I put my gorceries away and then we went to Sears to look at Water Heaters.    We hadn't measured the space so had to go back home.  We ended up picking KFC on the way home since Josh and his GF needed to head to school.  We have been eating out way too much lately with my accident and my lack of motivation to menu plan.   ARGH>....

     

    Home to eat and then back to Sears to buy a new water heater.   Once home I gave Tommy a bath and paid the bills.   I also updated the calendar and arranged for my SIL to pick up Tom on Thurs and Fri???    I did two load of laundry and getting ready for bed now.    I need to be at work fairly early tomorrow.  I better scoot.

  • I have been in a slump for meal planning so I ordered Menu Mailer.  I hope that will jump start my menu planning and provide some healthy meals for my family.  I ordered a three month membership.  SO we will see how it goes.    I am tired of cooking the same old stuff. 


     

  • Mother's Day Continued.....


    After our naps, we went ot eat at the Shore Club.  A very nice restaurant.  I has some fried chicken and rice.  For dessert I had Creme Brule (SP)  my favorite!   Afterward we came home and it stormed and rained.  Tommy and I curled up in my bed and watched a movie.   After our movie we read a few books.  


    Josh, Tommy and I played with the new camcorder hubby and I got for our anniversary.  We made a movie of TOmmy.    Tommy loved watching "my Tommy".   He counted and sang and goofed around for the movie.  We hope to put it on a CD and mail to grandma for Mother's day.  


    Then I watched a bit of TV snuggled up with hubby on the couch.   I did some dishes and folded clothes during the commercials.   After dishes I headed to bed for the night.




    MONDAY -


    I am off  to a good start for a Monday.  I woke with only a small headache.   That is an improvement.  I have started laundry and have my last load of towels in the washer.   We need to go buy a new Water heater today.  Ours is leaking, plus it is 20 years old.    I have a bucket under it, but it fills up too fast.   I think we will hit Sears sometime today after I get home from work. 


    Well time for my TO DO List for the day and hit the shower!!

  • Happy Mother's Day.    Hope everyone is having a great day.  Our is pretty quiet.    We didn't go to church since my hubby isn't feeling well today.    Hubby took me to go shopping for my Mother's Day present.   He bought me a VCR/DVD combo for my bedroom.   Now I have no reason to leave the bedroom!  We also picked out our Anniversary Present.  We bought a new Camcorder a nice little small one.   Not like that huge dinasour we have.   ICK!   We got it early so we could take it with us to Duluth next weekend.  


    Time for me to scoot and take a Mother's Day nap before we go out for supper.  Hope everyone has a great day.  

  • We are awake, but still sleepy.   We need to get ready to go to the library, then I have to get things ready for the engagment party.  I need to leave around noon to get there in time.   Busy, busy,,,busy......still have no idea what I will be wearing.   ARGH!!   Time for me to scoot and get stuff done ....more later!


     

  • Just finished doing some midnight laundry and dishes!  I am glad they are done.     We rented a movie tonight.  It was a Disney movie so I didn't think much of it.  It scared the pants off of Tommy and Erik.  ARGH!!!  It was the Haunted Mansion with Eddie Murphy.   


    Tomorrow I am going to an engagement party for my friend from work.  I am one of the bridesmaids in her wedding in September.   I will be there all afternoon.   Josh and Erik will spend my time away cleaning the garage.   Josh has decided he must clean the garage.  I won't complain. 


    I have plenty to do this weekend, but I won't hardly be at home.  That is why I am doing midnight laundry!  Time for me to head to bed.    I am sure TOmmy will wake up tonight.

  • FRIDAY YEAH!!!!  I am so happy it is Friday and payday!   I need a few days off to be at home.  Though I am going to an engagement party on Satruday and won't be at home.  On Sunday we are going out to eat with Paul's extended family for Mother's Day.   We have all the kids this weekend.   Erik had in school suspension again this week so he will be grounded from the computer all weekend.   He took a book from the book fair.   It is going to be a long summer with so much free time for him.   Sunday afternoon I want to make the Bagel bird feeders with them.

    Tommy is doing pretty good with Potty Training.   Yesterday he went potty twice at daycare.  When he gets home he is in underwear and he is keeping them pretty dry.  Last night he told me he had to go potty, but was hoping himself as he went while he was walking to me.  We have a timing thing to work on too!   But we are on our way!

  • Busy day....I have and IEP at 2:30 and homevisit at 4:00.   I am having my SIL pick up Tommy at daycare as I also have a Chiro appnt. at 5:45.   Rush, Rush, Rush......


    Not much else planned for tonight.  I plan on watching Friends tonight.  I think my BIL will be coming over the bringing a entertainment center over for Josh to put in his room.  He is excited about that.

  • Back from the Chiro appointment.    Not feeling any better.   I am icing my back/head now in hopes that will deaden the pain a bit.   Josh, Amy (josh's GF), and Tommy are eating McDonalds.   That is the extent of my cooking tonight.  We are having a cino de mayo celbration at church.  I made a 7 layer dip for it. 


    After Church I think I will head to bed.   I need something cheery to chat about.   I am really not in the best of mood today.


    Well the good news is Spring is upon us even in Minnesota!!!!!  I took some pics ot prove it!

  • Last night went well, everyone got their chores done early.  We all went to Target and bought Tommy some big boy underwear.  He picked out Incredible Hulk and Spiderman.   Tommy also got some Batman pj's.   Josh bought himself a CD.   Dad bought some snacks...LOL!!


    Home we came and Tommy wore his underwear until bedtime.  He kept them dry and used the potty.   He wore them again this morning and kept them dry until going to daycare.  For Daycare we put a pull-up on him.  


    As for me...I am very tired and sore tonight.  I came home from work at only 3.5 hours.  I had such a headache and couldn't stand it any longer.   I have a chiro appt at 4:00 so hopefully I will feel better after that.
