If I get all this done I will watch a movie I have rented.   Tonight I have book group too!

Last night after I did dishes ans straightened up a bit, we watched the movie Grudge and I cross stitched a bit.  I was so very tired though and went to bed early!    Tommy is still sleeping so I am going to get started on the living Room.

  • The house is tidy again...WHEW....now it is time to get Tommy to bed and watch a movie with hubby.   Tomorrow I will work in my zone, make shopping and grocery list.   Have a great night!

  • Home early for once and I have to get the house in order.  YIKES>....it is a bit out of hand.  I forgot to thaw something for supper so the kids are getting a rare treat, pizza!     I jsut don't have time to cook and get the house back in order.  I am dressed in my cleaning clothes (too my shoes) and ready to conquer the kitchen!!   Later!

  • Any Readers out there ever read Atonement by Ian McEwan???  I am really struggling to listen to this book.   It just isn't grabbing my attention.   I am trying to decide if I should continue it or not!

  • My work has a way of not cooperating with my plans.  Now I have to work on Friday as I have an emergency meeting for a client.   So I guess I might take off tomorrow instead???  Hmmmm....

  • Argh...it is raining here in MN.  But that isn't so bad since I am in the office all day today doing paperwork.   I forgot to mention my baby, JOshua (age 16) went to the college fair last night with his girlfriend and friend.   We have been discussig his options and think we have come up with a starting plan.   My hubby works at Century College and Josh can go there with a discount in tuition after hubby has worked there for so long.  So he is probably going to work full-time for a year to save for a car and then go to college at Century or one of their related schools for 2 years and than transfer to complete his 4-year degree.   He is thinking Century to start with because he can live at home not sure he will ever leave home, which is just fine with us.   He is planning on going into a computers career, networking or programming or something.   His girlfriend is looking for a school to begin her medical degree.  She wants to be a surgeon, Josh was saying last night.   I am not sure what Josh's friend is looking into going in to.   It is hard to believe that my son has one year of school left.   We are so proud of what a wonderful young man he has become.

  • MORNING

Good Morning!!!    The end of my 12 hour days is here.  I just have to work two 8 hour days and actually get home tonight at a descent hour.   I have a Chiropractor Appt after work.  I have alot of chore to get caught up with around home tonight.   The last two nights I go straight to bed after getting home.   I am jsut so tired!

Tommy slept in bed with me last night, but as soon as the lights went out told us he was going to his bed.   He jsut has to be with Momma for a bit.   I am ok with that.....he was napping when I got home from work last night and was not too excited to wake up!   He is so cranky when you wake him up!!!  We are taking him to the Circus on Saturday.  I am looking forward to that!

  • One more 12 hour work day and than I can work 8 for the next two days.  At least I have had homevisits both nights so I haven't had to sit in the office for 12 hours doing paperwork.   Though I have plenty of paperwork to fill a few 12 hour days!  After last night it just proves again how we can't leave Erik home alone for any amount of time.  He is going to be 13, I am not sure how long I will be able to have our daycare take him.  Not to mention the $400.00 a month it costs us.

I suppose I should shower and get the boys up for daycare (Erik returns to his Moms tonight).   I have exercised, had breakfast and did one load of laundry so far.   Hopefully I can get a few more chores done before we leave.   Last night was my night to do dishes, but I came home to hubby upset and it was really late so all I could do is listen to what happened, make lunches for today and go to bed.

    OUR DAILY BREAD

I started my morning bible study again.  Today's words were about Temptation.  Your response to temptation will make you or break you.  How often do we miss the whole forest of God's goodness for a single tree of testing?

Seek God with your whole heart (Psalm 119:9-16)

  • Just got home from work and came home to a very angry hubby.   Middle son made some very poor choices, a never ending problem.   Maybe my working late two nights a week won't be a great thing over the summer.   Argh...

Time to get my bedtime routine done and off to bed!    Later!
