Back from my weight watchers meeting....I am very happy with this weeks loss since it was Easter and all! I lost 1.6 pounds this week. This puts my three week total loss at 3.4 pounds. So I seem to be on target of my 1 pound a week goal. I hope I continue in this manner. I can't say that I feel very deprived.

Happy Monday.....boy was it hard to get out of bed this morning. Tommy had come into our bed in the middle of the night and he hit me in the face while I was sleeping about 5 times. He doesn't lay very still when he sleeps. That doesn't make for a very good nights sleep.
We went out to a buffet for Easter supper last night. It was so expensive, it was 90.00 for the 5 of us. YIKES!! That is over a weeks grocery budget, but that is what our extended family wanted to do. I didn't feel well afterwards and came home and went to bed. I hope my tummy is better today since I plan on working 12 hours today.
Didn't get to much done last night since I was feeling ill. I slept and read most of the evening. I have alot to get done this morning since I didn't do my bedtime routine. Today is weight watchers....hmmm...how that will go?? Off I go to get ready for work. Havea great day!

HAPPY EASTER!! I hope everyone has a blessed Easter morn. We are getting ready to head to church. I will have to take pics of the boys in their Easter outfits. They already did their egg hunt and really enjoyed it. Tommy thought it was alot of fun. He went from clue to clue to find his basket. The older boys had a harder one this year and it took them a bit. Hubby took a picture where their baskets were hid and then cut it up in pieces and hid in various plastic eggs around the house. They had to find all the eggs to put the picture together and find their baskets. No mattter how old they get they still want a hunt. lOL!!
We just finished making our Easter cookies and will decorate them after church. We are going out for supper with hubby's family around 5:00. Erik asked again to stay longer so we decided we needed to honor his request since he really wanted to stay. We just couldn't afford to pay a weeks of daycare for him on top of the monthly child support. We thought we were allowing him more time with friends if he stayed at his moms. But according to him that isn't the case, he states that his friends up there don't want to play with him. That wasn't the impression we were given, so we would rather have him be where he wants. So he will be staying with us until Tuesday night.
EASTER FUN!!!!

Just got back from my walk. I am getting a little faster, up to a 19 minute. I plan on taking a nap now since I have alot of cooking to do the rest of the day. The boys and I are going to make Easter Cookies and Dye Eggs tonight. I also want to make a couple of low point alternatives for my lunches next week. So definitely a nap is in order.
Supper Tonight:
Teriyaki Chicken WIngs
Sauteed Chinese Cabbage (0 points)
Chicken Fried Rice
I am also going to make Chocolate Zucchini Brownies (1.5 points) to use up some bananas and zuchini I have. That is probably it for tonight....I will make a couple of things tomorrow too I suppose. I want to try a new dressing and wrap.
Have a great day! I will have to go outside again once Tommy is up. I think I will plug in his three wheeler.

I'm up....I went to bed early again and fell right to sleep. Hubby woke me up a number of times those. He stayed up late so I am sure he will be sleeping in this morning. I hope for his sake that Tom does too as I am going grocery shopping this morning and to run a few other errands.
I still need to pick up a couple of Easter gifts for the boys and make their treasure hunts. My oldest boys still wants treasure hunts, we try to make the clues harder and harder. I am making a treasure hunt for Tommy with digital pictures this year. I think he will enjoy it. Erik was this age when I did the first one for him with pictures.
I really have nothing else planned for today. I hope to walk another mile if it is nice out. I also need to do some more laundry. The never ending job at our house. OOPs...wait..there is the Easter Egg hunt this morning at church.....oops...I am going to have to fit that in somewhere??? Hmmm...I will have to be home from Aldi and then take Tommy to church before I get the rest of the errands done.
I better get busy with my list so I can get home in time for the hunt! Have a great day!

We had the following for supper tonight. It was a hit with everyone but Erik who isn't so keen on meatloaf.
MEAT LOAF PIE
Prep: 25 min. Bake: 40 min
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1-3/4 soft bread crumbs
¼ cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 rubbed sage
¼ teaspoon pepper
1-1/2 pounds ground beef
1 envelope butter and herb instant mashed potatoes
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Press into the bottom and up the sides of an ungreased deep dish 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.
Meanwhile, prepare mashed potatoes according to package directions; stir in mustard. Drain meat, loaf; spread potatoes over top. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 3-5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting. Yield: 6 servings - Approx 8 points per serving.
* Quick Cooking*
After supper we watched Jesus Christ Superstar along with a couple of Josh's friends. Tommy fell alseep watching the movie tonight.....
Only Tommy could sleep like this!!!
This afternoon while I was making supper the kids enjoyed the warm weather. They were out on the swamp sliding on the ice. They seemed to have a good time!
It really wasn't warm enough for short sleeve shirts...those crazy teens!
Tommy and his play-doh creation he built with Daddy.
Erik is very happy that Josh and his friends are here. He likes to hang out with Josh and is sad when Josh is gone at work and with friends for the weekend while Erik is here. Erik didn't even want to go swimming with us today, he wanted to stay with Josh. He really looks up to his bro.
Well I think I am going to go to bed and read for a bit after I exercise. I hope everyone had a great day!!

Waiting for my SIL to come over and we are heading out to go swimming. I just gave Tommy a bath to clean off the treatment from the warts. The Dr had me leave it on longer this time and they are really raw. Yikes! The Dr said the other option was to scrap them off down to the root. I said no way! He said it would hurt. Tommy has alot of these warts and I will not hurt him like that. He was concerned about me paying a co=pay to bring him in so much to have this treatment done. I rather pay 100.00 then to have them scrap all those warts off and have him terrified of going to the Dr. Right now he loves his peditrician.
I went for a walk already too....it is actually about 40 degrees here so it was nice to be able to walk outside. I can really tell my endurance is much poorer since my prolonged illness. I am walking a 20 minute mile now. I have to work up to getting that to be less.
I guess I will go and switch laundry around before my SIL gets here. Have a great day!
