Menus4Moms provides FREE weekly menus for busy moms. I love it. I think I will start incooperating some of these menus into my menu planning. So far all the recipes look like things my kids will really like. ANything to make my life easier! I had been using the menus from Saving Dinner.com, but they aren't always as kid friendly. I think I will give this a try for a while!
Well I am at work and have all my stuff done with the kids this morning. It all went very well. Tommy seaprated well at day camp. I gave him the bucket of Toy Story toys and he was fine to stay in the room. Erik and I went to the school and picked up his schedule. He has alot of classes....yikes! He was very happy that in this school all classes are in the same hallway. It wasn't like that at his old school. He really liked that. He already memorized the pin for his lunch and his combo for his lock. I like that they now have a way your can electronically put money into the kids lunch account. YEAH!! SO I won't have to worry about sending a check with Erik to school. I can also see what the kids are spending their lunch money on !! That is a great service!
Josh went to pick up his schedule with his friends and then they had breakfast at McDonalds. He then was going home to pick up Tommy from day camp for me.
Since I was home this morning I got one load of laundry done and put supper in the crockpot. BUSY, BUSY>.....hopefully the rest of this week will be lower keyed. I plan on taking Friday off and just enjoying some time with my mom.
I am still waiting for them to call me about Josh's pictures. I can't wait to pick them up! Erik is at his mom's this weekend again and JOsh is with his dad. So it will be another quiet weekend....AAAAH....

I think my mom is pretty tired.....Tommy is a very active little boy. I am glad he is at daycamp for 2 hours to give her a little break. this morning is very busy! I have to take Tommy to daycamp, Erik to school and then get to work. I went to bed early last night so I am actually ready to get this all done!!!
Erik wanted a hard cookie last night and I said no because of his braces and gave him an alternative (chocolate donuts). I then find out he has already had one (hard cookie) before and has been chewing gum. I was not so thrilled. He hates any restricitions to what he can eat. It is going to be a long TWO years of braces. We haven't even made it to 6 weeks yet.
Josh had Amy over last night. They went to the movie too.
Tommy was very wild last night! He did fall asleep around 10:00. I put a sleeping bag on my floor and told him he was camping....didnt work. As soon as I turned off the lights he was right up against my back in my bed. Once he fell asleep I put him on the floor., so I slept much better. He had a very hard time seprarting from me for daycamp yesterday. I hope today goes much better!!! He said he had fun!
Time to hit the shower and starting waking up all the kids......have a great day!
MOrning.....well my mom is with us for the week. YEAH! We picked her up yesterday. We drove out to Hutchinson and visited with my dad and aunt and uncle for a bit. We played at the park until Tommy got an owie and was crying.
The Turkey Burgers were actually good last night, hubby even liked them. I will post the recipe later. It is a keeper. I made some marinated zucchini which I grilled, but they weren't that great. Hubby liked them though. I need to play with that marinade recipe a bit.
Tommy had friends over last night. Noah, Max and Sammy came over and we played Memory and had juice boxes.
This morning Tommy went to LADC Daycamp and he had a very hard time separating from me. I guess this is a nice transition into preschool again this summer. He will probably had a hard time separating for Sunday School too. He actually starts regular Sunday School this year.
Tomorrow will be very busy morning. I have to take Tommy to preschool and then Erik and I are going to his school to pick up his schedule and pay for things. Then i have to be back to pick up Tommy from school. Then I will go to work, I have a 1:00 homevisit I have to be at in Rosemount. So this week is very busy! I plan on taking Friday off since I have to pick up and take Tommy to school. Maybe my mom and I can shop or something. Erik will be picked up on Friday by his mom for the weekend.
On Saturday we will drive my mom back out to Hutchinson so my Dad can pick her up. They will be coming over to MN again in September and October for birthdays.
Today is weigh in day.....don't think it will be pretty. I am jsut praying for maintaining and not having gained. We will see!!
Good Morning!! I actually stayed up late enough last night to read a few pages. I will read again today while we drive to go pick up my mom. We meet my dad in Hutchinson MN and pick up my mom. My dad doesn't like to drive into the cities and he has ahard time without my mom. My Aunt and Uncle are riding with him, so we will visit with them for a bit.
This morning I am going to make some Turkey Burgers for Supper and clean up a bit. My mom will be sleeping in Tommy's room so I need to clean up in there. He has toys all over.
I have a number of books to get read, my book shelf is overflowing. I not suppose to outgrow it and I am starting to pile books on hubby's shelf. I also have a number of books from the library. I doubt I will get much reading done this week with my mom here. I love having my mom come to visit. She is a great help and I don't get to spend much time with her anymore since she lives in South Dakota.

A factory just a block away from our home had an amonia leak tonight. Lots of sirens and it even made the news. We could smell it outside our home, but no need to worry. All seems to be cleared out now. Three employees and one police man was taken to the hospital. Our little bit of excitement for the night.
I am off to bed to relax and read!
Today has been a nice relaxing day so far. We (hubby, Steve, Tommy and I) got up and went to the Farmer's market. Got some great produce. YUMMY!!! It is fun to just walk around there. We went to a few garage sales. Then we went to the library and half price books. I was able to buy most of the books for my mom at half price. YEAH!!
While driving we were talking with my BIL, Steve about how things were going etc. He hasn't been able to really afford the trailer home he is living in since the divorce and she left him with the entire debt. So we made the offer that he could sell the trailer and move in with us until he can save money to buy a car and rent an apartment. So we picked up some info on the bus to see if he could get to work from here, etc. We have one extra bedroom that has been our computer room. So eventually we have to figure out how to dispers the computers throughout the house and we will most likely have Steve live with us for a while. I think we will end up having one huge garage sale and downsizing in our home. I am all for it!! The less the better to me! So that will be five guys living here and me....I am forever out numbered! This will be a very good thing for my BIL to help him get back on his feet. When hubby was growing up there was 7 people living in this house...so we can handle 6 no problem.

Morning.......it is sort of quiet here, though hubby and Tommy and starting to wake up. Last night my neice babysat and we were over at my SIL's. We had a nice time. I ate WAY too many brownies. I will have to take a few walks this weekend. My BIL, Steve came home with us and spent the night. Hubby will take him back home later this afternoon. We will go to the library and half price books first.
Josh called last night and they made it to the camp site ok. I hope he has a great time! Luckily one of them had jsut turned 18 since you have to be 18 to get a camp site. I am a bit worried, but I know he will have fun.
Not much going on today...chores around the house and reading most likely. Hope everyone came enjoy a relaxing day!!!
another day....but at least it is Friday! I went over my lunch break...actually took a lunch for the first time in months and got my hair highlighted. It is very subtle so might not even notice it,,,,but that is what I wanted! The bonus was it only was 40.00, a very good deal.
I am so looking forward to a quiet weekend with hubby! I already got groceries so I dont' ahve to do that on the weekend. We will go to the library on Sat. morning, but that is all we have planned. We have to pick my mom up on Sunday at 2:00.

Hello - I am dragging today. I think it is my allergies getting me so tired. I have accomplished alot today, but nothing I should. I am working late tonight so I won't leave until my list is done!
I have been making calls getting things straightened around regarding Erik. Appointments to make, records to transfer and insurance issues to resolve. Nothing major, just time consuming.
Last night was a busy night, then they all seem to be. I made Sloppy Joes for supper and did some laundry. Picked up meds at CVS while hubby took Tommy for a ride on his new bike. Hubby bathed Tommy for me while I did laundry. Then I decided to finally watch the movie I rented. So I curled up in bed and watched Miss Congentiality 2 with hubby and Erik. It was pretty funny. Tommy went to bed in his bed, but later crawled in with me. We put the super glue on Tommy's toe like the Dr said...weird. But it seems to be holding the cuts together. I don't really see it getting better yet, but I have only put the steroids on twice.
Tonight I am working late and hubby is on his own. I made a big sub sandwhich for him that i made last night to feed the kids tonight when I work late. Josh is working today so Erik went to my SIL's. I think Josh is going to Marketfest tonight since it is the last night of it. He will probably take Erik with him too.
NOt much planned for this weekend, thank goodness! Erik is going to his Mom's. Josh is going camping with his buddies. Tommy is with us. Friday night my neice is babysitting as we were invited over to SIL's and BIL's for a football party. Saturday will be errands and doing things around the house. Sunday we are going to pick up my mother as she will be staying with the boys next week.
I have finished my lunch...weight wathcers pizza. YUMMY!! Time to get back to work. Hope you have a great day!
