Hello - another day almost done!   I am leaving a bit early tonight so I can stop at Office Max to buy some folders for a project I want to start tomorrow here at work.  A co-worker shared a great way to organize my filing so I plan on setting that up tomorrow when I finally conquer my filing!  And boy do I have alot.  We used to have a clerical person to that for us....now we have to do our own.  I never find time to do it anymore.   I got another new case today so time is getting less and less. 

Tonight Erik went to church to Markers and took two neighbor boys with him.   Joshua took them to church since he was a chaperone for the event.   Erik loves it when Josh goes too!   So it is just hubby and Tommy at home.

Yesterday afternoon, Josh and I went to the allergist for our yearly follow-up.  Josh was not a happy camper since he had to get blood drawn to be retested.  He has a problem with needles, but did very well.  I went back with him and he didn't pass out or anything.  The Dr feels that we probably don't need to carry an epi-pen anymore, but he wanted to test him to make sure.  We will be jsut using benedryl.   We have never actually used the epi-pen in all the years we have had to carry one.  Me...I am doing ok, but not as well as the Dr would like.  He wants me off the predisone, but doesn't want to mess with it now with the ragweed season coming on.  He started me on a new medication, to see if it will cause me chest pains or not.  If this med is ok...then I might be able to get off the predisone.   Otherwise I need to go to an endroconologist to have my bones measures as predisone cause osteoporosis.  I also need to go to an opthalmalogist since it cause cataract as well.  So it is a nasty med, but I jsut can't seem to get off of it.   But as I pointed out to the Dr, I haven't been hospitalized at all.   I jsut had the one week where the Dr made me take off of work.   he knows that he has to do that....I am a bit of a workaholic at times.

In the evening we handed out flyers for the block party again.  We had a few more families sign up.   I haven't counted but we must be up to around 60 people or more.   Met a nice new couple that just moved into the neighborhood.  This is their first block party and they are pretty excited.   They have two small children so it should be alot of fun.  Another neighbor brought over another game for us to use.  A lollipop tree so that will be fun.   It is all coming together fine, it is just alot of work.    So I work two more days and then I am off for the block party.   Really the biggest time consumer is handing out the fliers.  We have alot of games now!   Another neighbor has a golf game for us to use too.   FUN, FUN, FUN....now I jsut have to recruit enough people to run the games. 

Did I mention how distracted or busy I have been....in the last two weeks I ran out of gas twice......my computer in my truck said I could drive 40 more miles....not so accurate, I had to walk to the gas station.  ARGH!!   Ok....this week I will take the time and fill gas much sooner!

I called the police captain and he is going to have a squad car stop by the party for the kids to tour.   I am working on getting a fire truck too!  It shoule be a fun time...though I usually don't get to enjoy much of the party since I am running around with my head cut off, getting food ready, doing door prizes and running a few of the games.

My morning was spent finishing up the Bean Bag Toss Painting.  Josh will be cutting the holes into it for me today and getting a hinged leg for it!   Want to see my drawing ability....not the greatest, but you can figure out what it is at least!  The holes will be going into the balloons.

Morning.....I took today off to work on block party things.   I am going to throw on some clothes and take Tommy to daycare.  Then I am going to finish painting the bean bag toss and get the other games and pirze buckets together.   Plenty to do!!

I will need to have Josh drop Erik off at the daycare at 1:00 since Josh and I have to go see the allergist for our yearly exam.  Well Josh's yearly exam and my followup from a couple of months ago when my meds were changed last.   I hope he starts taking me off of predisone again.

Sort of Restless tonight.  I am working late, but not really into it!   I have afew more projects to do.  On my break I went and bought alot of prizes for the block party so that is out of the way.  Tomorrow I am going to take the day off and work on the games for the block party and things.  

Friday will be off to do all the shopping for the food and beverages.  I am so glad my hubby is off on Saturday so he will be able to help all day with set up and stuff. 

I am looking forward to the block party being over already.   I jsut haven't had the time to get everything done this year.  I am feeling a little stressed by it all.   Oh well.........no more extra projects after this weekend!

Morning ......HAPPY MONDAY!   Today is another busy day.  I am working 12 hours.   I have my employment review this morning.   So I should be getting a raise!  That will help us out.   Hopefully eventually we will be able to get that new van.   I also have weight watchers today.  Not looking forward to that, I haven't lost in a few weeks.  These last 10 pounds are the worst!   Once I lose them I am at lifetime and to my goal weight.  The first 10 went pretty fast....these 10 are stubborn.   I also have one homevisit today so I will get to be out and about a bit.    Well time to hit the shower and get to work.   Have a great day!!!
