Celebrating Josh's Birthday with Friends........

Half way through this week!!!   Being Mother's Day weekend I plan on sleeping in.  My new medication is still making me very tired.   I am asleep by 9:00 or 9:30 and have trouble getting up by 7:00, which isn't like me at all.   It seems to be getting a little better each day so I will stick it out until next week before I call the Dr. 

Yesterday went well, but I didn't get a chance to get my shopping list done so I couldn't get groceries.   Erik liked his new counselor.  I was very happy about that.   He gave us an assessment test to complete with Erik.   We are going to try and do that tonight since Erik doesn't have confirmation.   I was hoping hubby would do it with him.   I asked Erik who he would like to do it with him and he immediately said Mom.  ARGH!!   So I will spending a few hours tonight at the library reading while Erik works on this test.   I was pretty sure Erik would pick Dad, but that backfired on me.  Oh well....

Last night Tommy got to go to the gas station to pick out a treat as he has slept in his bed 5 nights in a row.   He is doing very well.   He again slept in his bed again last night.   He has been coming in my bed and we read our bedtime story and then he goes to his room and sleeps in his bed.  I do have to be in bed so he will go to bed as if I get up he will come and find me to see what I am doing.  

Well time to get to work.....have a great day!

Today I am not going into work, but you know what that means....I am busy, busy!!   Tommy is at preschool right now so I will do some laundry and hopefully get to my shopping list/menu.

The Rest of My Day:

11:25 - Pick Up Tommy at School
11:30 - Pick Up Erik at School
11:45 - Drop Tom off at Daycare
12:00 or so - Erik to Psychiatrist Appt.
After Psych appointment hope to take Erik to pick up his glasses in St Paul. 
3:30 - Erik to Counseling Appointment
5:00 - Pick up Kristen and Tommy from Daycare
5:30 - Hubby Picks up Nick from OT
I will Make Supper
Hopefully get Groceries
Collapse into Bed!!!!!!!!

Whew....I will be happy to get back to work!!!   My week at work isn't too bad since I am in interviews all day on Thursday.  But I do have a late meeting on Thursday night at 6:00.  ARgh!!!!   

Life is crazy........I need a vacation again already and we haven't even gotten started on the planning for Josh's graduation open house.  Some weekend here I need to finish painting my living room.

I have to go to Duluth on July 14 for a meeting and we decided that since it is my hubby's birthday weekend, he and Tommy would go with me.    I called around to find a room on Canal Park for that weekend and everything was booked.   The rooms are so expensive too!!!  YIKES!!    I never go to Duluth and stay overnight except for the Children's Mental Health Conference, which is off season.   So we are staying at the Inn on Lake Superior for hubby's birthday.  

Josh will be at the Sonshine cconcert in Willmar and Erik at his mom's so it will just be Hubby, Tommy and I.  If Josh would be here I would ask him to keep Tommy for the weekend.  

Also we decided tonight that I will be going to South Dakota for graduation ceremony.   My best friends stepson is graduating so I am going.   I am taking Josh with me as I don't want to drive that far alone and Tommy will be with of course as well.   I feel terrible but hubby won't allow Erik to come as he would have to miss one day of school and he can't afford to miss anymore school.  Hubby can't take any time off of work either.   Bummmer.... 

So I guess Josh, Tommy and I will be heading to South Dakota.  

Looksl ike I will be getting home earlier than planned tonight.  My 6:00 appointment called and cancelled so I am heading home.   I have to work late now on Thursday night instead.   So I will particpate in socail worker interviews all day and then have a late meeting.....ARGH!!!

I had a weight gain at Weight Watchers this week.....

The weather is getting nicer so I have to get out and walk more...........

The weekend went very quickly.   But then again, doesn't it always. 

FRIDAY -  I was at a friends house with 11 other women.  We ate, chatted and watched movies!  It was alot of fun.  I left her house around midnight.  Boy was I tired.  

SATURDAY -  Hubby worked the entire day.  I took Erik and Tommy with me.   Erik needed a haircut and new pants.   I was trying to wait to buy more pants for him, but it just isn't shorts weather yet so he needed more pants for school.   So we stopped at the library and then bummed around the mall shopping for a bit and had lunch.   Then we came home and went with Josh to where the limo was picking him up to take prom pictures.   In the evening Erik ended up doing homework and Tommy and I watched a movie.   Tommy went to his bed after the movie was done.  

SUNDAY - I woke up with the worse headache and had it most of the day.   On Sunday I worked on cleaning around the house and laundry.  My lovely hubby even let me take a two hour hap to see if my headache would go away.   Tommy again slept in his bed and hubby and I watched a movie in our bed.

GLANCE AT MY WEEK:

MONDAY - I have a late meeting so will be working late.  

TUESDAY - Tommy has school and Erik has two appointments.  His glasses came in so I need to pick them up as well.  

WEDNESDAY - Working and Church

THURSDAY - Tommy school and working.  I am participating on the hiring committee all day. 

FRIDAY - working again....

Since I am working everyday this week, I will need to figure out a night to get groceries.   Argh...never enough hours in the days!
