• I Did It.........................

  Hey Everyone!   I made  bit more progress on Tommy's room last night.  Remember the hand painted pirate letters I found on the Internet??   (See Below)

   

  

   

  Well, last night I tried my hand at painting my own letters.  I bought wooden letters at Jo-Ann's and painted them to match the ones I liked online.   I am pretty happy with how they turned out.

  

  I finished putting up the items I painted into the room and decroated the shelf we previously had in there.

  

  I found these great painted cut - outs at Jo-Anns.   I glued them onto his shelf and painted the pegs red.  It doesn't look like a Winnie the Pooh Shelf any longer. 

   

   

  

   

   

   

  I also glued some cut outs onto his coat rack. 

   

  His painted letter to spell his name are attached above his door.  I sure hope they stay.  I just used hot glue to afix them to the wall.   *Update - I changed my mind on the name.  I just don't think it stands out enough against the blue wall so I took them down and I am working on something new.  I guess that is what I will be doing for the day.

   

  I feel a bit more confident with my painting now so I will start on his first mural on the wall today.   Wish me Luck!!!!
