  • Morning.........

I am up and ready for my day to begin.  I need to shower and get ready for church.  I have already spent 15 minutes in the office eliminating one pile of filing.   I have had breakfast and now I am going to go read the morning paper.

Here is to a very productive day, I hope!  I want to finish up the office and start on my bedroom.  Later!

  • TOMMY LOVES HIS DADDY!!

Tommy loves to have you build a tower so he can knock it over.

    Peek a Boo, Daddy!!

  • More Picture to share.........of my favorite guys!

    Erik and Tommy

Josh and Tommy take a nap while Josh is babysitting.  It was very cute I got home from the library and they were both alseep on the couch.

My Teen......he is a true teen!  This is Josh putting on the ultimate cool as he boards the bus for bible camp in Iowa.   His first time away from home.  He was scared  but ended up having a great time.   He might go again next year, though he is talking about wanting to go on the mission trip through church instead.  I told him we will see, it really depends where they are going to do mission work next year.  I really am too protective of him to allow him to do a mission trip to Mexico, etc.   If it is in the states, I might be ok with him going.  Usually they work on assisting to build a house, etc for a mission trip.  It is a great expereience for him, that is for sure!

Well I better get to bed now, I have to get up for church in the morning.

  • Well we had a fairly relaxing afternoon.  After Tommy's nap we went to Red Lobster........YUMMY!!  The bottomless bucket of crab.......Tommy sat very nice and played while we ate.  He really enjoyed watching all the people and smiling at them of course.  The little flirt!

After Red Lobster Tommy took a nap and I set forth to conquer the office.  I actually did pretty well.  I got one book case cleaned up and weeded out a file cabinet.  I still have some filing to do.  But it is looking better and better.

We went for a walk this evening, but it was very humid out side.  I have a hard time with the humidity and my asthma.   I hope Josh is doing ok.  I think he is starting to develop asthma.....or maybe it is just the seasonal allergies stuff.  Who knows..........He is terrible about taking his medication, but then so am I.

Tommy was sure cruising around in his new little walker tonight.  He was really enjoying that.  He went down the hall and even into the kitchen.   He was following Kristen around a bit.  Now he will be able to follow Josh around too...LOL!!!  He sure loves his big brother and Daddy.  Tommy is saying MAMA more the last few days.  I am changing his diaper and he says MAMA, instead of DADA finally ..LOL!!!

Tonight I was cleaning in the office and Paul had put Tommy to bed.  After a bit Tommy was screaming, not just fussing, so I went to check on him.  Somehow he has figured out how to stand up in his crib and he couldn't get back down, so he was screaming.  So Daddy had to crawl under the crib and lower the mattress again.  He is such a little turkey.........LOL!!    I have a feeling he will be walking soon.  He is still not really crawling.  He does scoot backwards, but doesn't go forward at all.  Josh walked the day before his first birthday, I think Tommy will before that.

It sure is a joy to raise a little one again.   I am also really enjoying sharing the experience with Joshua.  It is also nice to be co-parenting, with my child's father.   I raised Josh all on my own, therefore he and I are very close.  Josh adores his little brother.   Josh has turned out to be a very responsible young man.  Actually our neighbors came over tonight to see if Josh could babysit their 3-year old while they went out.  But Josh is with my ex-husband, Jim for the weekend.   SO he wasn't able to, but I know he would jump at the chance.  He enjoys playing with Noah and loves to earn money.   With Erik gone on vacation with his Mom, Josh hasn't been making his 10.00 a week to watch him.  SO he is broke.  He has expenses...LOLL!!! Thursday he wanted money to go to MarketFest so he was washing dishes and sweeping the floor when I got home from work.  LOL!! And he watched Tommy for Paul when he went to hand in a job application.   (I knew he wanted money...lOL!!  and of course I gave him some)  He is a good kid, doesn't give us much grief.

I don't really do allowance at our house.  I tell the boys it is their responsibility to keep their room clean.  But if they do some of the chores that Dad or I usually do, which is everything else..LOL! ...they can earn money for that.   SO when Josh wants some money he will clean like crazy...without you asking.  He usually does take out the garbage and stuff for me since on the night it needs to be taken out, Paul is at school all night.

Well I am off to read my book.......it is a pretty good read so far.

  • I am jumping back on the flylady wagon today.  I am going to work on my very neglected office today.  I haven't been a good girl and doing my 15 minutes a day.  ARGH...........

I have had a enjoyable day, so I figure I better at least do one thing productive.  So I think 15 minutes in the office will suffice.

I was up early this morning and I went to garage sales with hubby.   Didn't but much of anything, except a few baby girl outfits for my best friends baby and a walker for Tommy.  I wasn't going to get Tomm ya walker, but for $7.00 and brand new looking, I couldn't pass it up.  I also watched the first 6 episodes of Sex in the City!  We don't have HBO, but you can rent the third season now.   This was the first time I saw the show....I enjoyed it.  I might have to get the next 6 episodes sometime soon.

Ok...I have had my xanga and caffine fix, so I best get to work.   Later!!!!

  • Let the weekend begin.........................

Tommy did ok on some of his pictures.  He started crying after a couple and clinging to me.  But the lady doing the pics wanted him to lay on his tummy for a shot and I said he hates that.  She said lets try.............that was the end of all pictures!   He cried and cried after that.  Luckily, we already had one picture where he smiled, so I ended up getting that one.

I jsut got done watching the movie "John Q" that is a very good movie.   I stopped at the library and picked up my book, If Looks Could Kill and am already on chapter two.

Well I am off to bed to read for a bit.  Later!!!

BTW - we ended up not going to Red Lobster tonight since it got so late after pictures.  So we are going tomorrow late afternoon, if Tommy cooperates...........

    Have a great weekend...........

  • Baby group was fun.  We were joined by 4 other babies, Kyle, Alysa, Hannah and Zachary.  Everyone stayed for about 2 hours.  We played outside and inside.

I wanted to share this website with you I saw on the news last night.  Everyone that knows me, knows I never pay full price for anything.  I am very cheap.   So check it out...........some good ideas.  I even learned some stuff from the little write up about hitting deals at Target.  Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

    Chat at ya later!

  • Morning.............

well babygroup will be here in two hours. I need to run to the grocery store and get some muffins or something for a treat.  I had no time at all to cook anything.  Then I have to move a few toys outside.  Luckily I am back on the flylady wagon and I really don't have any cleanign to do in the house.

I want to actually go out for supper toight.  Red Lobster is having there all you can eat crab legs special.  YUMMY!!!!  I can put away a lot of crab for 19.99, but hubby really can!   I have to do my checkbook tonight, but today is payday so I think I can splurge.

TOmmy has his pictures taken tonight.   Hope those turn out ok, we will see how many scratches he wakes up with on his face.  It doens't matter how short i cut his finger nails he always has little scratches on his face.

    Later!

  • Just a quick note before heading to bed.  I was able to vacuum and mop the floors after Tommy went to bed.  WHOO HOOO!!   My ECFE baby class are coming over tomorrow for a play date.  I wonder how many mommies and babies will be stopping by.  I have to run out and get some muffins and lemonade or something in the morning.

I am going to drag a few of our toys out to the back yard since i can't fit all those babies and mommies in our house.  I think we will be taking the ball pit out.......should be interesting.   So of course I am not going into work tomorrow.  I did bring some work home plug away on all weekend during Tommy's naps etc.

Tomorrow evening I will be having Tommy's pictures taken at Sears, so I should be scanning the proofs in this weekend.  He is changing and growing so.   He and I had a nice evening home alone tonight.  Joshua went to MarketFest with some friends downtown, Paul had school until 9:30.   TOmmy and I played, read books, and went for a stroller ride.

    NIght.......Have a great Friday!

  • Yawn.........Mornings are so over-rated.  I am up early to prepare for an morning meeting.  Argh...I hate getting up some days. Yesterday was a very productive day at work, and I also got a lot done at home.   Tommy and I hung out quite a bit since Paul was at school.  I made him some bananas with blueberries, which he really seemed to like.   I had a crate of blueberries to use up.  I got most of the clean clothes put away so I can see my dinning room table.   I have one litle pile left.  I cleaned the bathroom as well.

It seems like I am forever trying to keep up with everything, some days are jsut better than others.  I tend to fall off the flylady wagon and have to climb back on, which is easy enough to do.

I have two painting jobs I am thinking of starting this weekend.  The front entry way and the downstairs bathroom.  Now if only Paul and I could agree on a color for the paint.

Well I better jump in the shower and get ready for work.  Later!
