  • WHEW!!  I am home....nothing major can go wrong.   I wanted to call my mortgage company.   I talked to there refinance department about getting a better rate on my loan.  They said the rate for fixed martgage is 6.375%  hmmm.....that is two percent cheaper than I have.  I might consider refinancing.  We will see.  I have to chat with hubby about it.  He needs to get a job so I can pay the fees to refinance.  LOL!!   I need money to save money....go figure!  I should have considered doing this a while ago.

  • My morning kept getting worse this morning.....I need a vacation!!!   After breakfast, Tommy had hives again, I think it might be the mixed grain cereal we switched to.  I am going to go back to giving him oatmeal only.  Hubby fed the baby for me this morning as I had my breakfast.  I was getting the baby ready to leave and I gave him his cough medicine.   ARGH....hubby had just given Tommy his cough medicine before I had.  ARGH!!

So I end up calling the Emergency Room, who has me call Poison Control Number.  Poison control looks up the medication and finds that the dose Tom had would not hurt him, just make him very sleepy.  The antihistamine in it took care of his hives.    I am making these calls while driving to daycare.  I get Tommy to daycare and head to work.  I check in at work and head off to my morning meeting.

When getting to my morning appointment I find the paperwork isn't in my briefcase.  ARGH!!   So I apologize profusely, and reschedule my meeting....

Now I am having my lunch, nothing should go wrong with that!!  LOL!!   Not the greatest day!  I will then need to head for my 1:00 appointment.   I hope that goes ok...after that...I am going HOME!!!   ARGH!!

  • I have my cookies all done for my cookie exchange party.   Our party is on Sunday and we have 8 women participating.  I made Peppermint Pinwheels, (almost 12 dozen).

Now I just have to made a batch of hot chocolate for the party and some appetizers.  It should be fun.

Tomorrow we are babysitting KK & Kaleb, my bil & SIL kids, while they wrap presents.  So maybe they will like to help me make cookies and candy.

Tommy slept well last night is looking better today.  His skin is a little blotchy, but not bad.  I need to buy another bottle of Benedryl today, as I left the one I bought yesterday at daycare.  Not much else to report......except

I am about to me a great aunt!  My niece was in the hospital last night to have her baby.   I am sure by now we have a new little boy in our family.  Very exciting.  Hard to believe my sister is a grandma....we are all growing up.   LOL!!

  • OH WHAT A MORNING!!  What  a morning it has been already and it is only 10:00.  ARGH....I woke up early and was ready for work by 7:30.  I was excited to be getting to work early as I had a lot I wanted to get done.  Tommy was crying and hubby wouldn't get up yet, so I figured I would get Tommy up and feed him.  It was very unlike him to be up so early.

I go into to Tom's room and I see he still has those to little red spots on his neck.  Looks like a clothing tag was bothering him.  I unzip his sleepers and he has hives all over.  His entire back is covered, he has a ring of them around his belly.  I wake up hubby and tell him I need to take baby to Dr.  Both my oldest and I have food allergies.  Josh uses Benedryl and an Epi-pen.  We have never used the Epi-Pen.   The Hives look like they are spreading and I was worrying about his breathing, though it was fine.

I called and got an emergency appointment at the peds at 8:30.   My ped (who is the greatest) said it looks like a internal allergy.  So something that Tommy ate.  The first thing the peds asked was had Tommy had Eggs or Chocolate yesterday.   He had Chocolate cupcake at daycare for someone birthday.  So we now will be keeping liquid benedryl on hand as well.  Tommy will not be getting Chocolate for a while and we will see if that is what will take care of this.

My poor sons, seems like I have given both of them allergies.  My Peds said that if I want I can have a blood test done at Tom's 15 month appointment to check for allergies.   ARGH!!   I guess I will have to have our family allergist see the baby too.

SO now I am at work, Tommy is at his aunties and happy to be there.  I don't think I will be getting off early today.  ARGH!   I need to run to a store over lunch as I founda great gift for my mom!

    Later!!

  • Before I forget, my3lilmen, asked about where to find the calendars I use on my side bar.  The ones I use I found at the following URL.

I thought I had another place bookmarked, but can't find it right now.

  • Morning - how is everyone this morning.  I am a wake, that is about all I can say.   Mornings are not my best time of the day.  I have an early meeting this morning and I would like to make it to work before my secret Santa.   I stayed late last night, but she never left so I couldn't get my stuff done.  ARGH!!

Tonight I have to work late too.  I have a 5:30 homevisit, so I won't be home until around 7:30.  ARGH!!  I have so much to do!  Oh well, I am not stressing.

I found a great stocking stuffer for Erik at the dollar store.  He lost his watch we bought him last summer a day after he got it.  So I bought him 3 watches and will put one in his stocking.  Hopefully he can keep them for a bit.

I am off to shower and head off to work.  Have a great day!
