We went geocaching this morning.  We took my neice and nephew with us.  Josh didn't want to get out of bed.   We look for 7 geocaches, but only found 4 of them.   But it is a nice start.  There are over a 1,000 in the city!   LOL...these 7 were right in our town.  Tommy really enjoyed it, each time we stopped at a park he would say "TREASURE??".  He would get so excited when we would find one!!   Nice activity to get us out of the house!

Looks like we might be rained out today for geacaching.  rose wanted to know more about what geocaching is.....it is hard for me to explain since I am fairly new at it.  It is like a electronic treasure hunt.  You go to the geocaching website and look up where a geocache is hidden.  On the webiste the coordinates are listed and you use those to find the treasure with a global positioning system (GPS).    Once you find the geocache you sign the log and some have little trickets in them so you take one and leave a trinket.  My kids love scavenger hunts so I think this will be alot of fun for them.  Most of the geocaches are hidden in parks and places so we will discovere new places in the city as well. 

Rain, rain and rain some more.....

We tried our first meal from the Menu Mailer tonight and it was a success!   We had Chicken Tostados.  YUMMY!!!   Tomorrow night is Beef Satay, many new things to try.   Everyone gave tonights the thumbs up!  

I best clean up the kitchen and get some more laundry going.   Later ALL! 

We have had a lazy day today.  We went shopping with Tommy always interesting....NOT!!   Well MidwestBlahs has inspired us to buy a GPS so we can go geocaching!   I plan on reading the book on it tonight and will go searching for one tomorrow.  There are so many to find in the Twin Cities area!!   I hope this will be a fun summer activity for us. 

Hubby went shopping by himself since it was hard to shop with TOmmy.   He bought the new printer we needed since ours had died.  We do so much printing for the church so they don't last long! 

I suppose I should go do some laundry and think about making supper.     I hope the weather will cooperate with our outing tomorrow.  Later All.  Hope you are having a great weekend!

I decided to get groceries this evening.  I love shopping in the late evening since it is less busy there.  I am planning my menu with the Menu Mailer and used their shopping list.   I spent a bit more than usual.  My bill was 94.00 for the week of groceries, but 15.00 of that was pop.  I wish we could break that habit.  Actually I know we will be decreasing our drinking of pop alot with wummer coming.  I bought alot of fresh produce which is good for us.  We need to eat more vegetables, etc. 

Tommy is still up and it is way past his bedtime.   I have put all the groceries away and have my menu and recipes for the week in my 3-ring binder.  All I have left to do is dishes and they I will be taking Tom to bed with me.   Well maybe this will help with him sleeping in the morning.

My to do list is coming along.  I am even took a few minutes snooze.  Tommy is still napping, but I need a break!!!  SO I am going to take 20 minutes to relax and then I will hit the list again. 

Josh's GF, Amy is over and they are watching movies downstairs.   We rented a few movies.   I am off to see if I have any mail...and read a bit.  Later!!!!

Hey everyone....the weekend is here!! YEAH!  I like the color of my hair, but I hated the way she styled my hair, so hopefully I will like it today after I shower, etc.  I tanned as well and that is always so relaxing.   I am a bit red so will have to wait a day or so to go again.  

Yesterday I worked late.   I left the office at about 9:00pm/  It was a very quiet day at the office since most people took an extra day off for a 4 day weekend.  I did get alot done, but have plenty more to get caught up on.  I will be working late a couple days a week for a while.  I got behind with the accident and not being able to work full-time!!   

I need to plan meals a bit better on the days I work late.  Hubby has gotten the kids McDonald each time.  I surely don't want my children eating McDonald's twice  a week, even if it is only temporary!!  I will try to plan some crockpot meals for those days, that I could have my son, Josh start.   Though I thinl the kids would rather have McDonalds.  It jsut doesn't go with my quest to have them eating more health!!

Well I best get going.  Tommy is watching the Toy Story movie we got from the library.  We have to return it today and it wil be very hard for him.  He loves it!!  I looked on EBAY for the two disc set, but it is so expensive!!   

I hope to get the household things cuahgt up on since I have been working so late.  Things are a bit messy around here.  Time to shower, dress and conquer the day!!  LATER!

This week is becoming a blur..I can't belive it is already THursday I am so busy it is unreal.   Tonight I hope to relax with hubby since it is our anniversary!

This morning I got up with the intention of making a marinade for our steaks.  I was suppose to make it last night and I went to bed early and was asleep by 10:00.   I was so tired!!  So making the marinade this morning I realize I am out of ground ginger so I have to run to the store.   I do a total SHE things and throw clothes on over my PJ's.   I get home finish the marindae and let it cool while I am showering and getting ready for work.   I figured I would throw it all together on my way out the door.  Well one ziplock bag leaks and the other I thought I had it closed, but didn't...ARGH...so my sandals are full of marinade and I have to quick scrub the floor in spots.  

THen I go to curl my hair.  I use one of those hot air irons.  It quick working when I was 1/2 done with my hair!!  ANd I was late already.    I get to work about 10 to 15 minutes late.  I got out of that meeting at about 12:00 and run errands over my lunch break.  I go to Target to buy pull-ups, return some pants, buy new hot air iron.  I also bought a buzz light year for Tommy and skewers for a recipe I plan on making next week.  

My menu next week is all done.  I am using the one of the Menu mailers for the first time!  I hope we like the recipes.   I will plan on getting groceries on Monday morning.  If the stores are even open on Monday??    I have a three day weekend and I am really looking forward to it.   Josh will be home with us since his dad is out of town, but Erik will be at his moms!   Of course Tommy is always with us.

Well I am done with my lunch...time to get back to work.  I have another meeting at 2:00.
