  • Have a Fun and Safe Halloween!!

  • Well that was fun.....I update my look on the blog and made my webpage to match.   I had been meaning to change things for a while!!   I am can only change them about 4 times a year anymore.   I will just have to do the seasons.    I better get the house cleaned up, my parents should be here any moment!

  • Ok..FINALLY ....I have change the look of my blog for Fall.  I still need to do the side bar, but don't have time for that right now!    I will have to make new buttons later.  But at least I don't have Spring decor up still!!

So since I lost alot of my links.....this week I would love it if you would share your favorite Graphics site....

  • Oh I forgot to mention, my oldest son is going to his first concert tonight.   I am a bit nervous about letting him go, but he is 16 and a very responsible young man.  I can always trust Josh.   He is going to a Reliant K (christian band) concert at a local Christian a College.  He is going with a friend from Church who is a college freshman.   It all seems pretty ok, but I worry about him alot.  He will take my cell phone with him so he can call me to let me know he is on his way home.  He knows I worry and is good about checking in.   My baby is growing up..........................

  • Tommy is still sleeping....I should wake him up, but it is so quiet.  I am enjoying the peace.  This is my last Saturday alone.  I will miss it!  Starting Monday my hubby starts his new job and will be working M-Friday.    So I will have to share my quiet Saturday mornings with him.   I will adjust I am sure.   It is better for the family for him to be home on the weekend, especially for when Erik is here for visitation.   He really hasn't been able to see his Dad enough.  The other kids see Daddy all week too, but Erik ends up feeling like he misses out alot living at his moms.   But that is the life he was dealt.

Hubby will be able to go to the library with us again each Saturday and run errands to!  He is happy about that.  A new store jsut opened by he mall and he wants to go, so I have not been able to check it out yet.  It is called Lakeshor Learning.  I have gotten thier catalog before, but never been to a store.  I am very excited!

I best get my day going and shower and dress.  My parents are coming to visit today for Tommy's birthday.   Josh has to work most of the weekend, planning on going to a concert tonight at Concordia College and wants to be here for Halloween, so he won't be going to his Dads.   He is at an age now where I let him decided with his Dad what he will be doing.

A fun party for all!!   Now Tommy is finally in bed and soon will be asleep I hope!

  • The nap didn't work well.   Josh and Amy are running a few errands and picking up Tommy for me.   I need to frost cupcakes and clean up the kitchen.   I need to take some aspirin first....I have such a head ache.   I think I have a sinus infection now....man do I ever need to get healthy.  I have been sick for a few weeks now and my asthma is starting to worsen again.  GRRRRRRRR.

  • I think I am going to sneak a power nap for a bit.   I have most of the stuff ready for Tom's party at 5:00.  The treat bags are made, games are almost ready.   The two crafts are set up and accounted for.  I had to run out and buy a bit more glue.

All I have to do really is frost the cupcakes, make kool-aide and wash dishes from last night.  I have plenty of time...I think a nap is in order!!!!  NIGHT!

  • YEAH!!  Tommy slept through the night!  WOW..the first complete night of sleep in over a week for Momma.  That is a good thing!  I even had to wake him up this morning to get to school.   I have to say I just love his preschool.   I  am so happy my hubby is so dedicated to ensuring Tommy can go to such a quality preschool.   My hubby would never skimp on our children's education.

Tommy was a COW for his preschool Halloween Party Today.

I got Tommy's school pictures back from the preschool.  They turned out really good.  Of course I can't get the scanner to work right now so I will have to scan them later.   He also got a book order today at preshool so we will have to look at that.  That is Momma's down fall...BOOKS!!   But both my children have a very high vocabulary, which I credit to all the books we have read Josh and Tom in their lives.   It makes such a difference.

My book group last night were laughing at Tom.  He was just a jabberbox with them.  His vocabulary is pretty good for his age and complete strangers can understand him very easily.

I am sure I will be posting lots of pictures today.   We are having Tommy's birthday party with his little friends today from 5 to 7.   I have two crafts, two games and pizza to spend our time!    Josh and Amy are helping with the party.

I need to scoot and get some things done for Church before Tom is done at preschool.  I have alot of baptism lambs to make for the banner.  I am way behind!!!  And the minutes from our last meeting didnt' get written yet...ARGH!

  • Well just enjoyed a great evening with my book group.  It was great to get together with them and discuss things.   The food all turned out great....and I am stuff!!  I ate way too much of the artichoke spinach dip.   But it was very good.    Well I am off to bed to start my book for group next month!
