Hubby, Tommy and I just got home from Erik's Choir concert.   Now hubby is makking rootbeer floats for the boys and I am going to get my bedtime routine done and head to bed.    Hope everyone has a great evening!   Good Night!

Back from Erik's Dr Appointment.  Seems to have gone ok..he will be starting a new medication.   I have to head home so we can go to Erik's concert tonight.   A very busy day as always in our household.

I am at work and hubby bought me an extension for my headphones at work.  It is very cool....I have been listening to books on tape while I type reports and now I can move all over my cube still connected to my laptop!   Gotta love a man that thinks of everything!

Busy day today.....Erik has a psychiatrist appointment so will have to leave work for that.  They are always in the middle of the day, really messes with your day.  ARGH.  Oh well, at least they aren't very often.    He also has a choir concert tonight so that will be our evening.  

Last night we played hubby's Valentine's present, Trivia Pursuit SNL edition.  It was HARD!    We didn't even finish as it was getting late.   Tommy and I headed to bed around 9:30.   He woke up crying during the night, but went back to his bed.   Hubby had shut the bedroom door and the cat was crying and banging his head on the door.  And I had a coughing fit during the night.   So not such a great night sleep.  

Off to get ready for work......Later!

What a nice hubby I have.....he had lasagna and garlic bread for supper.   He bought me a George Foreman the family size.  I had a little one, but wanted a larger one.   The kids went to rent the Notebook, but it was all gone.   Later!

Off to my last homevisit of the day....then home to see my family!   Should be a quiet evening.   Hope everyone has a lovely Valentine's Day!   If you find yourself alone this V-Day....do something special for yourself, your worth it!

boclark - I have to agree is was just beautiful out this morning.  I have  a crab apple tree in front of my house and it was beautiful with the snow clinging to the limbs.  Wasn't as fun to drive in the stuff!  I had to be at the allergist in Minneapolis at 9:30.  

iheartkenny - Thanks for your prayers.   I commute each day at least an hour.  I am a social worker and go on home visits throughout the day so can drive alot more throughout the day too.  I live in the twin cities, MN.   As for as my laundry schedule, yeah, I do sitck to it.  I do those loads each day that are listed, plus one more.  I need to do at least two loads a day to stay afloat.  The second one I just pick what every is the biggest pile!

Oh..I forgot to mention this morning when I went to get in my truck...there was a lovely Valentine's Day card and my favorite chocolates on my steering wheel.  What a nice way to start the day!

Went to the allergist this morning.  At first he was really wanting to get aggressive with my treatment.  Bronchiscope, Chest CT and see the pulmonoligist again.   But after he realized I was better for about a week, but caught another cold from my son, he decided to just change my predisone protocal.   It is a more complicated longer taper that he thinks will get me through flu and cold season.  I hope it does!!  So looks like I will be on predisone for a few more months.    I am feeling a little better, so hopefully it continues to improve.   I will call and check in with him in 2 weeks.  I am glad he didn't make me come in for an appointment.  I can't afford all these $20.00 co-pays for the office visit!

HAPPY VALENTINE"S DAY!!!

Moving a little slow this morning, but then again it is Monday.   I like the week starting and getting back to my routines, weekends throw me off a bit.  I am going into work late today as I have a Dr's appointment with my allergist.   He is back from vacation so he gets to see hacky me.  I see him at 9:30 in Minneapolis, then it is off to work.  My last apointment today is at 6:00 so will be working a little late.   But is should be a very short meeting. 

Let's see....starting a new book on Tape today while commuting, that is always nice.  London Bridges by James Patterson. 

Supper tonight...Lasagna and Garlic Toast.   Otherwise  pretty quiet week it looks like.  We are suppose to be going out of town for the weekend coming up, but I really don't want to go.   A friend gave us a week at their time share.  We can only stay for the long weekend as the kids have school. 

It snowed yesterday, that heavy wet snow so the trees look really cool.  

Family Updates...I don't talk much about my extended family, but they are on my mind lately.  So I ask for prayers for them.  My father has prostate cancer and will be finding out about treatment options next week.   I held it together when my mother told me, but it is hard to see your parents begin to fail healthwise.  They have always been there to take care of me!

My neice, is having another baby.   She has one little boy who has some developmental delays.  He isn't talking and has alot of sensory issues.   He is 2 years old I think.   They are looking into a diagnosis of autism it sounded like, my sister wasn't too up on what was going on with him for sure.  She will certainly have her hands full with two little ones.
