Glad to be home......I really missed my kids while I was at work today.   I saw Erik and Josh mid-day since I stopped by to check on them when I picked up my truck.   Now I am going to curl up in my bed with Tommy and a few books to read to him.  

My truck is fixed again or so they say.  At least they charged me another $250.00 this week.  I drove it to work and made it here without it stalling so that is progress.  I am a bit annoyed by this.  I have to drive to Duluth on Thrusday again for work, so it better run!

Tomorrow morning I am coming into work late as I am taking Erik to get his separaters on for his braces.   Should be a quick appointment. 

Something I have been pondering:  I am really at a place in my life where I believe there is a season for everything in life.   This is my season to raise my children.  They are my and my hubby's priority.    I am so perplexed by people who would chose a relationship over their children.  I will never understand that.   God entrusted me with these precious children.    My season for me and my goals, desires and needs will come soon enough.   I only have one chance to raise my children.  I wish more parents would realize that raising children isn't something to get through....it is something to cherish.  They will be all grown up before you know it. Children are a gift from God. Life is long enough that a woman can actually live two lives. I have the joy of having my children, and after I raised them the Lord will give me a second life.  My time is coming.....but I must admit I am thoroughly enjoying this season of my life!!!   I am truly blessed.

Hug those kiddos today.....even when you wake up with no sleep or toes in your mouth....SMILE....you will miss those toes in your mouth someday.  I know I will................

Well back to the grind....on my break I ran two errands.  I went and got my greeting cards for the next 3 months and ordered checks at the bank.   Only had to get a few belated cards this time...LOL!!  

Now I am off to weight watchers.....I will check in later!

HAPPY MONDAY!!    I got plenty of sleep last night and feel pretty refreshed for a Monday.   Tommy went to bed with me last night and we were both asleep by 10:30 at the latest.  We had a very quiet evening.   I needed to relax after all that time at the mall shopping with the boys! 

Today I am working 12 hours.   Today on my caledar I have weight watchers and one homevisit.  Other wise I will be in the office working on one budget and some other reports.   Seems once I get all caught up I get an influx of new stuff.   I also got a new case the other day so I have to schedule to go out and meet them as well.   Always plenty to do. 

I am going to fold a load of laundry and hit the shower.    Have a great day.  the heat wave has finally broke here in MN so I will be able to get two walks in today without smelling all sweaty at work.  lOL!!   

I am tired.....I just got home from shopping at the mall with Josh, Erik and Amy for 5 hours!   LOL!!   We had fun and I bought alot of school clothes for the kids.  I bought Josh 2 pairs of Dockters and a shirt and tie for his Senior Pics.  Erik picked out two pairs of jeans, tennis shoes, 4 shirts, socks and a new backpack for school.  I also had Erik pick out a watch so he can start wearing one.  He doesn't like to wear one, but I think he will get used to it.   Erik picked out a nice shirt for his school pictures....hubby even approved.  We had alot of fun shopping.  We need to return one of Josh's Dockters and I need to find Josh a black t-shirt yet for his pictures.  Maybe next weekend Josh and I will go to Rosedale to look for a shirt.   We spent less than $300.00 so that is pretty good.  I still need to get some more clothes for Erik, but we will have to spread out the expense.   

I certainly got alot of walking in at the mall.   I am going to sit and relax the rest of the evening.   I am tired!   Tommy spent the day with Daddy, but was really happy that momma came home. 

Tomorrow is weigh in day and I think I actually lost this week!   I really hope so.   Well I am off to relax....hope you all enjoy your weekend.

Well i decided against crawling back into bed.  I took my shower and took a walk before it got so hot.  It was pretty humid, but my breathing wasn't too bad.  So at least I got a walk in and I might be able to get another one in this evening depending on the weather.  We are going to mall shopping so I will get plenty of walking in there this afternoon.  My son is a shopaholic very much unlike me who HATES to shop!   I will check out the clearance racks for school clothes though at a few stores. 

Just a quick entry and then I am crawling back into bed to read for a bit.  I woke up with such a headache.   We had a great time yesterday and had family over playing "shout about Movies" until about 11:00.  Then hubby had to drive his brother home.   Tommy and I crashed.  Josh, Amy, Charlie and Erik stayed up and finished watching a movie.   Those kids are going to have rude awakening when school starts and I start enforcing bedtimes.  

Everyone is still sleeping now and we decided to let them.  Josh and I are going shopping today for his clothes for his senior pics.   He needs two outfits.   That should be interesting.  That is all I have planned for the day besides cleaning up the house.  I have laundry to do and dishes from last night.  I went to bed without doing the dishes!  I was too tired.

Friday was a good day.  I got home at a decent hour and spent some time with hubby before picking up Tommy at daycare.  Erik and Josh went to see the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.  Erik treated for the movie since his older bro has been taking him so many times.   Hubby took Erik to return one toy and get a new one with his birthday money from last year.  He finally had an idea of what he wanted.  

We went to the paperware house store and bought a bunch of napkins and decorations for graduation.   Since Josh is graduating next year we got alot of orange and black things on clearance.   Everything was either 50 or 75 % off.   You ahve to plan ahead to save money!

My turck still isn't fixed so I have the courtesy car yet.  They decided it is my auto start that is causing he problem with the electrical system so they are removing it.  It better be the problem or I will be mad.   I have to drive to Duluth for a meeting on Thrusday so it better not stop running on me!!

Last night for supper I made a Skillet Lasagna, which was pretty good.   Josh worked from 5:00 until 9:30.   We watched my neice and nephew for the evening so we were busy outside.  I weeded another garden and the kids played in the wading pool.  

Josh called when he got off work and said Amy (his GF) and her mom were waiting by his car when he got off work.  They wanted to go to the Ramsey County Fair.  So they came home to drop off the van and pick up Erik and off they went for the evening to the fair.   They didn't get home until late!    Erik went to bed and Josh went to Charlies for a bonfire.  ARGH....

Hubby and I curled up in bed and watched the movie White Noise.  A freaky movie!   Tommy spelt in his own bed again!   WOW!!

The big boys are sleeping in afer their busy day!   I think I will head to the grocery store to buy stuff for supper tonight.   Get all my cooking done this morning so I don't heat up the house later.

Today I think I will take Josh shopping for two outfits for his senior pictures.   It is always fun shopping with Josh!   But Expensive!

HAPPY HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

Very quiet in my home...and I am awake and feeling refreshed.  I am going into work early so I can come home early.  Hubby is off today so I don't have to cart Tommy to daycare.  So I will shower and head to work.   I have two appoitments today and one is a family with a baby so I will get to hold her.  She is soooo cute. 

I have a coutesty car from the dealsership for today.  I couldn't figure out how to drive it at first.   It is an automatic, but it had a letter on it I didn't know M.  I guess you can also drive it as a manual.  weird.....haven't driven a newer car in ages.  The new things they come up with. 

I slept so well last night.  I was out cold by 9:30 and didn't even hear Josh come home from work.  Good thing hubby was here to hold down the fort.   Tommy slept in his own bed.  WOW...and how did this come about.  I had a discussion with him and told him I didn't feel good and I was really tired and would he please sleep in his bed...and he said OK.  Yep...that is is...I asked him to and he did it.   I am sure it will never happen again, but I needed it.   He also had some benedryl before bed since his ankle was swelling up.  His allergies are terrible he is covered in rash.  So I was hoping the benedryl would help with that all. 

Well it is nearly 7:00 so I better hit the shower and get to work.  Have a great friday!! 

Home from work early....odd you might think.  Ms.workaholic home early.  Well my truck died once again while I was driving.  ARGH!   So I took it back to the garage and came home.  I did tell them they had to give me a courtesy car, which they gladly did since they said I am such a good customer.  I would hope so...I have dropped over 1500.00 there in the last two weeks.  

I jsut got done paying the bills now I am off to drop them off.  Hope everyone is having a great day!  I did get a walk in this morning even though it is very hot here in MN.   I am certainly not used to that and it doesn't help my breathing much!
